April Ross
April Ross has won more than one medal at the Olympics. Ross is among only a handful of women beach volleyball athletes to be able to do so. Alix Klineman is the newest Olympian and will join the team in Tokyo. Ross wants to achieve more than her first Olympic medal. Perhaps it is her last chance, at 39 years old. Her optimism is that she can achieve top honors. If we play our highest or do well, I believe we can get that gold medal Ross declared on NBC Boston. Also, I am going to rely on a bit of good luck. Ross born August 22, 1982, located in Costa Mesa California. She resided in the area along with her entire family. Ross was a competitive athlete in a variety of sports while attending Newport Harbor High School. She competed in basketball and track in addition to her indoor volleyball achievements in her time as a college athlete. However she was clearly a cut above the rest when it came to the second sport. As a college volleyball season as per her college bio, she was an outside-hitter, middle-blocker and setter. Her achievements were rewarded by her being named 1999 Gatorade's National Circle of Champions Player of the Year. The skills she showed in volleyball also brought her an Orange County Athlete of the Years trophy in the year 2000. Ross and Klineman might be working on a project in the year 2017, however Ross was an experienced volleyball player before they teamed up. In reality, she was a winner of multiple major tournaments in the past with two different partners. one of whom is the volleyball legend. Jennifer Kessy coached her from 2007 through 2013. Together together with Kessy, Ross won an Olympic Title in 2009, while racing internationally. They won a Silver Medal at the 2012 Olympic Games held in London. The Misty Maytreanor legendary team as well as Kerri Jennings were the winners of gold. It was fate that had them. Ross became Walsh Jennings' new partner as May-Treanor stepped down. Together, they took home beach volleyball bronze for the Rio Olympics in the year the year 2016. Following high school, and for a few years before she hit the beach as a professional Ross balled out with the Trojans of USC as a collegiate. The time she spent at USC was a memorable one. In 2000, as a freshman, her play earned her the Pac-10 and NCAA Young Player of the Year awards. She also helped the Trojans to make it to the Final Four. During her sophomore year she was devastated by a personal setback, but she was able to be a second All-American. Through her last two years within the team, she guided the Trojans to the summit by winning two three consecutive championships at the national level. The achievements of each individual have established her status as a legend in volleyball. She was awarded the Honda Sports Award 2003-04 for the nation's best female collegiate player. Ross played international relations as a major at USC. Margie Ross wasn't able to witness her daughter's climb to fame as a beach volleyball player. Ross's mother passed away from breast cancer when she was a sophomore in USC. She still holds her mother close to her heart. Margie has always been a source of inspiration to her on and off the beach.
