Allison Raskin Bio

Allison Beth Raskin is an American comedy writer, director and YouTuber podcaster, and advocate for mental health. Her previous position was an editor at BuzzFeed Video. She left the firm in 2015 and launched her own comedian YouTube channel Just Between Us with Gabe Dunn, a fellow writer. Raskin, born in Manhattan on 20 June 1989, to a Jewish parent and a father who raised her with her grandparents. She attended the University of Southern California, where she earned the bachelor's degree in fine arts. Jamin B. Raskin (born on December 13, 1964) is a U.S. attorney, professor of law, and politician who represents Maryland's eight congressional district with the U.S. representatives since 2017. The law professor was the prosecutor of choice in the impeachment of Trump. Rep. Jamie Raskin, who is the Maryland senatorial candidate for the following term, has decided to remain within the House and run to be the Chair of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee. Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac and other wealthy suburbs in areas like the Washington, D.C. area are part of the district. Rockville is the largest of these neighborhoods.
